One number, all your devices
Your business line is no longer tied to a desk: it lives on your computer, smartphone and browser. Up to ten devices per user ring together — pick up wherever you want.
Desktop application (Windows, macOS, Linux)
The MaxiPBX desktop application is your primary workstation: calls, directory, history and presence management, with refined headset integration.
- Windows, macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Linux
- Automatic and silent updates
- Company directory and history synchronized
- Colleague supervision (busy/available) and call interception
iPhone and Android applications
On mobile, MaxiPBX uses your phone's native calling: a business call rings and answers like a normal call — even with the app closed, even with the screen locked.
- Native incoming calls (CallKit on iPhone): full screen, phone history
- Reliable notifications even when app is closed, without draining battery
- Switch between devices without disconnecting from the network
- Available in 60 languages
Softphone in the browser (WebRTC)
Need a phone line immediately, on a computer you're passing by? The web softphone works in your browser, no installation required.
- Incoming and outgoing calls directly from the browser
- No installation, no administrator rights needed
- Ideal for occasional remote work and shared workstations
Multi-device, truly
A MaxiPBX line supports up to ten devices: they ring together, and your status stays consistent everywhere.
- Desktop phone + computer + mobile + browser on the same line
- A call answered somewhere stops cleanly elsewhere
- Queue agents ring on all their devices
Frequently asked questions
Does the mobile application drain my phone's battery?
No. MaxiPBX uses native push notifications from Apple and Google: the application doesn't run constantly in the background, it's woken by the system only when a call arrives. Battery consumption is comparable to a messaging application.
What does my caller see when I call from my mobile?
Your business number. Calls made from the MaxiPBX application display your company number, not your private mobile number — your privacy is protected and your image remains professional.
Does the softphone work behind a corporate firewall?
Yes. MaxiPBX applications use standard protocols (SIP/TLS, WebRTC) designed to traverse corporate networks and NAT. In highly locked-down environments, our technical team will advise you on the few necessary openings.
Can I use my headset with the desktop application?
Yes, the desktop application supports USB and Bluetooth headsets from the market, with answer/hang-up controls from the headset for major manufacturers. The comfort of an operator station, on your computer.
How many devices can I connect to my line?
Up to ten devices per user: desk phone, laptop, smartphone, tablet, browser… They ring together and a call answered on one stops cleanly on the others.
