Your telephony connected to your business tools
A modern PBX should not remain isolated. MaxiPBX exposes documented APIs already available for tenants and master administration, connects CRMs, integrates with Microsoft Teams and unlocks advanced CTI use cases thanks to a secure, tenant-segregated ARI gateway.
Documented and usable PBX API
Integrators have access to clear OpenAPI / Swagger documentation, with standard authentication and strict scope separation.
- OpenAPI / Swagger documentation available to quickly understand the routes
- Standard Authorization: Bearer authentication for modern integrations
- Tenant API available to manage your own scope, with no access to other clients
- Master API available for global administration and full-scope integrations
- Public routes, protected routes and hospitality/PMS access properly separated
CRM, customer records and click-to-call
MaxiPBX brings the phone call closer to the customer context: caller identification, CRM record opening and automatic logging.
- Connections to HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Odoo, ConnectWise, Vtiger and Jetpack CRM
- Contact lookup on incoming call: name, company and 'Open in CRM' button
- Logging of incoming, outgoing and missed calls in the tenant's CRM
- Click-to-call browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox
Microsoft Teams, SSO and identity
Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments are supported without imposing a proprietary authentication model.
- Teams presence synchronization to the phone handset
- MaxiPBX softphone embeddable in Microsoft Teams
- SAML SSO with Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Okta or generic IdP
- Configuration by tenant, with administrator consent when necessary
Secure ARI and advanced CTI projects
For low-level telephony integrations, MaxiPBX can expose Asterisk REST Interface via a controlled gateway.
- Global or per-tenant ARI access according to integration requirements
- Dedicated credentials, encrypted passwords and mandatory IP whitelist
- HTTPS exposure on port 443, REST and WebSocket event streaming
- A tenant access only sees calls from its own tenant
Webhooks and hospitality / PMS integrations
The Rooms module is designed to communicate with business tools: check-in, check-out, wake-up calls, statuses, billing and events.
- REST API for check-in/out, occupant, language, phone profile and wake-up calls
- Webhooks to report statuses, DND, calls, billing and emergencies
- Architecture prepared for OPERA / FIAS and PMS connectors
- Keys and secrets protected, never displayed again after registration
Frequently asked questions
Can the API be used by a client within their own tenant?
Yes. The access model clearly distinguishes tenant and master rights: a tenant administrator can automate their own scope without seeing other clients. Global access remains reserved for general administrators.
Can I connect MaxiPBX to a self-hosted CRM?
Yes. Standard connectors cover several well-known CRMs, and the engine also accepts custom URL patterns, API keys and project-specific integrations as needed.
Is ARI access dangerous?
It is disabled until a configuration is created. When in use, access goes through HTTPS with dedicated credentials, mandatory IP restriction and tenant segregation when access is not global.
Do you have a CRM, PMS or CTI integration to connect?
We analyze your use case, the necessary rights and the appropriate level of API exposure before exposing any API.
