Plug in. It's configured.
A new office phone comes out of the box, plugs into the network… and that's it: MaxiPBX recognizes it, pushes its configuration, keys and directory. No need for a technician for each station.

Which IP phone brands are compatible with MaxiPBX?
MaxiPBX supports major IP telephony brands on the market: Yealink, Fanvil, Snom, Gigaset, Cisco, Grandstream, Panasonic, Poly/Polycom, Wildix and Mitel/Aastra — office stations, WiFi models and DECT bases. Any standard SIP phone can also be connected. If in doubt, send us your model list: we validate compatibility.
What is automatic (zero touch) provisioning of a phone?
It is configuration without human intervention: at first startup, the phone contacts the platform, identifies itself and receives all its configuration — SIP account, keys, directory, firmware. With Yealink and Snom, we go further thanks to the manufacturer's RPS (Redirection and Provisioning Service): a BRAND NEW phone, never unboxed, finds your platform all by itself from its first connection — true zero touch. Subsequent changes are pushed remotely.
What are BLF keys and what are they used for?
BLF keys (Busy Lamp Field) display the status of your colleagues in real time on your phone: light on when the person is online. A press allows you to call the person or intercept a call ringing at their station — essential for a reception desk or executive assistant.
Are wireless DECT phones supported?
Yes: multi-handset DECT bases (notably Yealink) are automatically provisioned, with each DECT handset receiving its own line. The ideal solution for workshops, warehouses, shops and healthcare facilities where you make calls while moving around.
Can multiple SIP accounts be placed on the same phone?
Yes, depending on the capacity of the model: a station can carry multiple lines (for example the direct line and the department line), each on its own key. The position of the lines is managed from the portal, without touching the phone.
